300 \div 10 = 30
In minutes form, duck's average speed is 30 meters per minute.

300 \div (10 \times 60) \\ = 300 \div 600 \\ = 0.5
In seconds form, duck's average speed is 0.5 meters per second, or 50 cm per second.

P. S. You could choose either seconds form or minutes form.

Hope this helps. - M

Solve the equation using the Quadratic Formula. x2 - 8x + 15 = 0 Select the correct choice below and, if necessary, fill in the
Ahat [919]

Answer:

x = (5,3)

Step-by-step explanation:

the quadratic formula is x =( -b±√(b^2-4ac))/2a

to solve for x, a=1, b=-8,c=15

x =( -(-8)±√((-8)^2-4*1*15))/2(1)

x=8 ± √(64-60))/2(1)

x=(8 ± √(4)) / 2

x=(8 ± 2) / 2

solve with '+'

x=(8 + 2) / 2 = 10/5 = 5

solve with '-'

x=(8 - 2) / 2 = 6/2 = 3

x = (5,3)
