The Difference between The Codes of Hammurabi and Modern Day Western Legal Codes, Is that; <em>Answers  ====></em> <u>if a person steals in Modern Day or found  guilty of theft can pay a fine or serve jail time, usually depending on the value of the items that was taken. Whereas, in The Codes of Hammurabi, If a person Steals, or is committing a robbery, and is caught, then he or she, shall be put to death.</u>
