There are two types of plant tissues: meristematic tissue found in plant regions of continuous cell division and growth, and permanent (or non-meristematic) tissue consisting of cells that are no longer actively dividing.Meristems produce cells that differentiate into three secondary tissue types: dermal tissue which covers and protects the plant, vascular tissue which transports water, minerals, and sugars and ground tissue which serves as a site for photosynthesis, supports vascular tissue, and stores nutrients.Vascular tissue is made of xylem tissue which transports water and nutrients from the roots to different parts of the plant and phloem tissue which transports organic compounds from the site of photosynthesis to other parts of the plant.The xylem and phloem always lie next to each other forming a structure called a vascular bundle in stems and a vascular stele or vascular cylinder in roots.Parts of the shoot system include the vegetative parts, such as the leaves and the stems, and the reproductive parts, such as the flowers and fruits.

RNA nucleotides form complimentary base pairs with DNA bases.  Hydrogen and sugar-phosphate bonds form and the mRNA is synthesized.

Explanation:

The process of mRNA formed by DNA is called transcription. The genes coding for the protein is present on DNA as a nitrogenous base or nucleotides.

Transcription takes place inside the nucleus with the assistance of major enzyme RNA polymerase. In transcription 5'to3' single strand of RNA is synthesized which is complementary to the 3'to5' strand of DNA. The sequence of DNA has promoter sites which will be recognized and DNA will unzip to form transcription bubble. Several transcription factors and enzyme will be required to synthesize mRNA.

This mRNA after some modification would become primary transcript and pass on to the cytoplasm where protein synthesis will take place.

Vertebrae are the scientific term for the backbones. 
All backbones are backbones... right? :'D 

However, the vertebrae are only a bone GROUP; there are other types of bones like joints, shafts and etc which don't come under the vertebrae clssification.
