At the time the U.S. goals were westward expansion so do to the fact that they were expanding the people who were moving out west were taking over Native lands which caused a war to break out. Not to mention the fact that the english settlers who came to the "New World" brought deadly diseases to the Natives.

The migrations didn't stopped there though, but the humans continued through the islands of Southeast Asia and eventually reached Australia, later continuing in the Pacific Islands.

Part of the populations that lived in Eastern and central Siberia started migrated in few waves through the Bering Strait in North America, moving south and reaching Central and South America.
