every situation has it's pros & cons such as this pandemic. almost every country is on lockdown which hurts the economy all around the world. we're "locked" in our houses, most people work from home & schools are either cancelled or online classes are being held. this situation puts a lot of anxiety on many people, makes many people's mental health worse if they can't cope. if that's the case self-management seems to be harder to do. on the other side if people can easily cope with this position or they're more introverted or e.g have social anxiety their self-management may be easier since they don't need to press themselves into situations with other people. this is just a generalisation & anything can be otherwise as i stated but that's my view based on people's reaction/feelings/thoughts around me.
The correct answer should be low to moderate intensity and long duration. For weight loss, it's better to do something at a lower intensity but for a long time than to do something quickly but pushing yourself. That's why cardio exercises and running is great for losing weight. It helps you work at your own pace and you can do them for a long time.
