Argos is a field :))
Here's the translated version in case you'd like to read it:
On the next day, Salvius wanted to inspect the farm. Therefore, Varica showed him along the farm. The manager showed the master the field and harvest.
'The harvest is the best,' said Varica. 'The slaves are bringing in a lot of grain this season.'
After looking around the field, Salvius said to Varica, 'Where are the plowmen and foremen? Is Cervix in charge of them?'
'Absolutely, master!' said Varica. 'But the ploughmen aren't working today because Cervix isn't here. He is sick.'
Salvius replied, 'Who told you? He is sick? I don't want to keep a sick slave.'
'But Cervix is very skillful,' said the manager. 'Cervix can look after the farming by himself.'
'Be silent!' said Salvius. 'I want to sell him.'
Right when he said this, he saw two slaves. The slaves were hurrying from the field.
'What are these slaves doing?' asked Salvius.
'These slaves are carrying the food for the ploughmen, master. Does it satisfy you?' replied Varica.
'I am not satisfied!' said Salvius. 'The cowardly slaves give don't give me any food.'
Then the master and the manager arrived to the field. Near the field Salvius saw a building. The building was half-collapsed.
'What happened to the building?' said Salvius.
'It is a new field, master!' replied the manager. 'The other is now full. That's why I want to build a new one.'
'But why is this half-collapsed?' said Salvius.
Varica replied, 'When the slaves build the field, master, a dreadful thing happened. A bull, a fierce animal, attacked onto this building. The wall was destroyed and the slaves were frightened.'
'Who led this bull?' asked Salvius. 'Who was careless?'
'Bregans.'
'Alas!' said Salvius. 'I do not trust Britons. All Britons are stupid, but the Bregans is stupider than the rest!
