Language immersion technique adopts the second language to train and teach students rather than just learning the language as a subject. When students spends the entire day learning the second language, thus is called Total immersion. This encourages students to adopt the language for casual conversation.
Immersion is being surrounded by a language till you begin to pick it up. language immersion is a method that is specifically used to teach learners a second language. Language immersion focuses more on the second language as the instructional tool used to teach the student in that subject area.
We have 3 stages of immersion:
Early immersion: students begin learnig the second language at age 5 or 6.
Middle immersion: students begin to learn the second language around age 9 or 10.
Late immersion: students begin to learn at age 11 to age 14.
