I think that the answer is -10.6 because its decreasing at a faster rate. What I done to get this answer is to divide 320/3 and we know that it will be a negitive since it clearly says decreasing. Hope this helps

In part b, you used a combination of geogebra tools and manual calculations to find the approximate area of the original polygon
Burka [1]

Absolutely, over result will match in part b and c

What is Geogebra Tools?

Geogebra tools are software which is used to study an absolute geometry with zero errors.

Since, Geogebra contains various tools, In part b we have drawn a square through polygon command. Its allows to select the number of sides, so we select 4 cause square requires 4 equal sides.
Now, we very it in c part just by drawing a 4 connected lines which have 90° adjacent angles.
                    Here, by comparing their geometry it seems identical

Thus, the result, in part b and c matches for each other.

Betty saves 3 times as much as Ann. Charles saves 390 less than Ann. If Betty saves 1,330 more than Charles, how much does Charl
Gennadij [26K]
To answer this, I set up a system of equations for each sentence mentioned (B=3A for Betty, A - 390 for Ann, and B = (A - 390) + 1330 to show the relationship between Betty and Charles's amounts. The way to answer this is to replace the B with the 3A that represents Betty's amount. This creates 3A= (A-390) + 1330. By having only one variable you can then solve the equation to find Ann's amount. If you know Ann's amount, you can figure out Charles' amount. To solve the equation add 1330 and -390 which is the same as subtracting 390 from 1330. This leaves you with 3A= A + 940. Subtract 1A from both sides, to leave you with 2A = 940. Solve for a by dividing both sides by 2. This leaves you with A= 470. Take this value of a and substitute it in to Charles's equation which is C = A - 390. 470 - 390 equals 80. This is Charles' amount saved.

How to find the limit of that question
jeka94
Factor the numerator using difference of cubes:
a^3 - b^3 = (a-b)(a^2 +ab+b^2)
a = x
b = 2

\frac{x^3 - 8}{x-2} = \frac{(x-2)(x^2 +2x+4)}{x-2} = x^2 +2x+4

Now you can evaluate limit as x=2.
\lim_{x \to 2} (x^2 +2x+4) = 2^2 +2(2)+4 = 12
