Basically, there are two types of medical kits in use today. They are, day travel medical kit and the home medical kit.

Emergency medical kit is a first aid given to a person when faced an injury or any attack from a disease. Medical kits help stopping of blood flowing out of a wound, treat cut, Burn, etc. of a person. It is the first treatment given after the accident.

The box consists of scissors, bandages, hydrogen peroxide, etc. sometime it is so useful that it can save a life of a person. Some people also carry medicine for cough fever and common cold.
