Black squirrels may increase in a certain area due to natural selection because of the ground below it being dark so the squirrels would adapt to the terrain, making them harder to see by predators.
EXAMPLE: if a light fur colored squirrel is on a dark terrain, an Owl or Large bird could easily see the color differentiation and notice that it is a small land organism (prey).
So the squirrels kin would evolve in the sense that they would have darker fur to match their inhabitance

The Cambrian Explosion, which began roughly 545 million years ago, was a relatively rapid (~5-10 million years) diversification of multicellular life, including most of the animal phyla currently extant today. This was an evolutionary arms race of sorts, with many creatures achieving both larger size as well as symmetrical bodies and various structural supports, including skeletal systems. It was also a highly experimental times in terms of evolution, as many forms of creatures arose and went extinct in rapid succession during this period.</span>

The cellular structures found in prokaryotes are (select all that apply) Capsules Ribosomes Golgi complex Mitochondria Fimbriae
Tresset [83]

Prokaryotic cells are basic cells that lack membrane-bound nuclei and complex organelles and the cellular structures found in prokaryotes are Capsules, Ribosomes, and Fimbriae.

Numerous prokaryotes have a tacky peripheral layer called the capsule, which is generally made of polysaccharides. Ribosomes are found and freely distributed in prokaryotes. Fimbriae are a kind of limb of prokaryotic cells. These hair-like bulges permit prokaryotes to adhere to surfaces in their current circumstance and to one another.

Mitochondria and the Golgi apparatus assembly are remarkable to eukaryotic cells, and won't be tracked down in prokaryotes.
