Why did the Cold War start in Europe and how did it involve and impact developing and newly independent nations
S_A_V [24]
The Cold War threatened the independence of new nations. Since the Soviet Union and the United States were competing for political influence, many newly independent nations were subject to take over either by the Soviet Union or the USA. However, there was also a positive impact to some newly independent countries because the two antagonists of the Cold War would support whatever country they saw fit. Therefore, some new countries gained support from larger nations.

This is just one of the many possible answers, since so many nations were affected differently. All the same, I hope this helps. :)

lawyer [7]

Wilsonian ideal of self determination is a concept where Wilson Woodrow proposed that the people in a country that had the same political ideas can attempt to create their own independent state.

The influence it had after the world war 1 can be seen in the following:

  • The Japanese nation agreed to include charter  that recognized and promoted equality of people from all races.

which side of the debate about fracking and the water resources it uses do you agree ? Give reasons for your opinion
Vinil7 [7]

Answer:

Hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, is a multistep extraction process in which fossil fuel-bearing rock formations are drilled and fractured using huge amounts of water. Oil and gas reserves that were at one time considered inaccessible are now available to be exploited. While the fracking process has expanded oil and gas development, it has also expanded risks to water resources.
