This is called transpiration process. Transpiration process in the process that plants lose water in the from of water vapor from their stomatal openings. lenticals or cuticle covering different parts of the plants. Transpiration process is very important as it is a primary factor for the ascent of water from the root inside the xylem vessels in the plant to reach the leaves. It also helps the plant to maintain its suitable temperature.
