Can you please help me with my book report?
snow_tiger [21]

Answer:

it's asking for your opinion

Directions: Choose a realistic fiction novel for your September book report. Realistic fiction is a genre consisting of stories that could actually occur in a believable setting. These stories resemble real-life and fictional characters within these stories that react similarly to real people. I expect you to choose a novel that is appropriate for your grade level and your own reading level. You must have your book approved by me in advance. See me for personal recommendations. Follow this format in completing your book report. Please submit finished work through Google Classroom by the due date, September 30.

Paragraph One: Introduce your reader to your book by stating the title, author, year of publication, genre, and the basic situation of the plot. Please end this paragraph by stating the theme or overall message of the book. (Example: An important life lesson this book teaches is … or... One of the themes the author explores in this story is...)

Paragraph Two: In detail, describe the setting and the main characters. Identify the protagonist and antagonist and explain the essential conflict of the story.

Paragraph Three: Present a brief summary of the plot by identifying the initial action, the rising action, the climax, and resolution. DO NOT RETELL THE STORY! You will be graded on your ability to identify these literary elements. Example: “The initial action of the story is…” “The climax occurs when…”

Paragraph Four: Discuss the theme of the book. What is the universal truth about the human experience that the author expresses through this story? How is the theme conveyed? Please include at least one quote from the book that reflects its theme.

Paragraph Five: What did you learn about yourself or the world by reading this book? How did this book impact you? Did you enjoy it? Learn from it? Would you recommend it to a friend? (This is the only paragraph that should be written in first-person, paragraphs #1-4 should be written in third-person.)

Please take the time to carefully revise, edit, and proofread your writing before submitting it for a grade. I expect you to use proper spelling, grammar, and capitalization. In addition, all writing should be in your own words. If you plagiarize, you will earn a “0” and receive a discipline referral to the administration.

Gennadij [26K]

Antiseptic is the antonym to septic (carries opposite meaning), i.e., not infected with germs and microorganisms. Given that, and the statement what septic means, you have only one correct choice among the four.
