In order to solve, you need to make them improper fractions. You do this by multiplying the whole number by the denominator, then adding the the numerator. So for 6 and 1/3 you would multiply 1*3, which is 18, then add 1 to 18. You keep the denominator the same. You have 19/3. Do the same with 1 and 5/6. You get 11/6. Now just multiply top by top, bottom by bottom. You get 209/18. Now divide bottom into top. 209 divided by 18 is 11 and you have 11 left over, so you now you have 11 and 11/18.

Analyze The Diagram Below And Answer The Question That Follows (15x+10) (8x+1) What is the value of x A 5 B 8 C 10 D 15
Anettt [7]

<u>Given</u>:

The measure of angle EFG is m\angle EFG=(8x+1)^{\circ}

The measure of arc GE is m\widehat{(GE})=(15+10)^{\circ}

We need to determine the value of x.

<u>Value of x:</u>

The value of x can be determined using the inscribed angle theorem.

Thus, we have;

\angle EFG=\frac{1}{2}(\widehat{GE})

Substituting the values, we have,

   8x+1=\frac{1}{2}(15x+10)

2(8x+1)=1(15x+10)

  16x+2=15x+10

     x+2=10

           x=8

Hence, the value of x is 8.

Therefore, Option B is the correct answer.

If we reject the null hypothesis, can we claim to have proved that the null hypothesis is false? why or why not?
sp2606 [1]
Yes, you can claim that the null hypothesis. But you must pay attention the p-value. If the p-value is higher than the significant value the null hypothesis can't be rejected.
