i HAVE TO DO THE NATSUKI NECKSNAP TO READ THIS!!! I believe that may have been native americans? I am confused by the passage.
Ok so basically people would have problems accepting the Copernicus model because they church had believed that the earth was in the center of the universe. and that Sun, Moon, and stars — orbited Earth. they thought the Earth did not move at all. Copernicus believed that the sun was in the center and the planets moved around it. he even wrote a book about it but the church banned it cause they believed what they said was correct. it's a little messed up cause years after he died. they realized he was mainly correct about his theory. hope this helps.
The critical explanation of the change in Smith's behavior is that he was not renumerated for his efforts at performing higher level tasks and he became disgruntled and disillusioned with work.
The action I would have taken if I was Smith's immediate boss would be to give him a formal warning and pay his acting allowance fees without delay.

What is Job Satisfaction?

This refers to the situation where a worker is happy at his job and is willing to give his maximum input to the job.
Therefore, there can be a recurrence of such cases if the motivational climate of the organization is not improved as workers would feel less valued.
The steps I would take as Chief Executive of the company to solve the problem are:
- I would have an open-door policy for staff to come directly to give complaints, or ideas
- I would ensure that workers are not overloaded with work, no matter how eager they might seem.
Questions:
- a) Critically explain the change in Smith's behavior.
- b) What would you have done if you were his immediate boss?
- c) Do you feel that the recurrence of such cases can be avoided by improving the motivational climate of the organization?
- d) What steps would you initiate as Chief Executive of the company to solve the problem?
