Although the answer is by no means the name of a single woman, as historically there have been many women who earned the right to be called pioneers in showing that women were able to work in fields such as aviation, probably one of the most notable cases is that of Amelia Earhart, who in 1928 became the first woman to cross the Atlantic as a passanger and later on continued gaining titles and names for her prowess in the field of flying. She is also best known for her contributions in general to the field of aviation, and finally because she recognized the importance of both success and failure, and invited other women to take the risk to look beyond.
