The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Unfortunately, you did not include the text, so we do not know the specifics of the lesson and the question.

In order to help, we can comment on the following.

What was known as New Imperialism was the period in human history when powerful nations such as the United States, Great Britain, France, and Russia, among others, supported imperialistic ideas at the end of the 1800s and the beginning of the 1900s.

For example, this was a period in which the European superpowers met at the so-called Berlin Conference of 1884 until 1885. In that series of meetings, they decided on how to split the African Continent. This action of splitting the black continent was commonly known as "The Scramble For Africa," a period in which European powers such as France, Germany, Great Britain, and Portugal colonized African territories, mostly to exploit their natural resources and raw materials.

masya89 [10]

The Albany plan of Union was a plan to place the British North American colonies under a more centralized government. The plan failed because the colonies were afraid of losing their own autonomy. The British also considered the plan unnecessary because they wanted to make the management of the colonies simple. This shows that Britain was not interested in micromanaging the colonies

Explain in four sentences. How the Treaty of Versailles in 1919 (End of WWI) led to Hitler's rise to
Galina-37 [17]

Answer:

The Treaty of Versailles, signed in June 1919 at the Palace of Versailles in Paris at the end of World War I, codified peace terms between the victorious Allies and Germany. The Treaty of Versailles held Germany responsible for starting the war and imposed harsh penalties in terms of loss of territory, massive reparations payments and demilitarization. Far from the “peace without victory” that U.S. President Woodrow Wilson had outlined in his famous Fourteen Points in early 1918, the Treaty of Versailles humiliated Germany while failing to resolve the underlying issues that had led to war in the first place. Economic distress and resentment of the treaty within Germany helped fuel the ultra-nationalist sentiment that led to the rise of Adolf Hitler and his Nazi Party, as well as the coming of a World War II just two decades later.
