Answer:

C. "Hain't we got all the fools in town on our side? And ain't that a big enough majority in any town?"

Explanation:

Mark Twain's children adventure novel "<em>The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn</em>" tells the adventures of a young boy named Huck Finn. He was looking for adventure and freedom, which he thinks he got when he set out on his own along with a black slave Jim, and then accumulating friend/ companions on the way.

The duke and the king are two impostors who had been cheating unwitting people out of their things and money. Their attitude towards the people can be best seen in the lines from Chapter 26 where they were in a town and fooling the townspeople into buying their wares. The reality was those things they were selling were not theirs but rather the property of the orphanage. The lines "Hain't we got all the fools in town on our side? And ain't that a big enough majority in any town?" shows just how they think the people may be foolish enough for them.<em> They were selling and robbing the orphans from their only possession, including the house</em>. This shows how they (the king and duke) were unsympathetic towards even the orphans, thinking only for their own profit.

Using details from Sections 1-3 (pages 3-46), in the first box, list three words/labels Elie would
Talja [164]

Answer:

Three words/labels Elie would  use to describe himself: exceptional faith, loving, and caring.

a specific piece of textual evidence from the  text: "Never shall I forget the nocturnal silence that deprived me for all eternity of the desire to live. Never shall I forget those moments that murdered my God and my soul and turned my dreams to ashes. Never shall I forget those things, even were I condemned to live as long as God Himself. Never."

It supports the word(s) I have chosen because it shows his faith in God, and he is very loving and caring, he even says he would never forget the things that turned his dreams to ahses, but he still has hope and is faithful.

In which sentence is the adverb clause
Naddik [55]

The correct answer is B. Until he truly heard classical music, he never knew that bittersweetness lived in wordless song.

Explanation:

The function of adverb clauses is to modify or describe the action in the sentence. In terms of structure, this usually begin with words such as when, after, until, etc that add information about time, reason, way, among others. Also, in terms of punctuation if the adverb clause is placed before the main sentence this is separated using a comma.

This correct punctuation is exemplified in "Until he truly heard classical music, he never knew that..." because the section "Until he truly heard classical music" is an adverb clause introduced by the word "until" and this has been separated from the main sentence "he never knew..." with a comma.
