This question is incomplete. Here's the complete question.

Read "Lord Arthur Savile's Crime: A Study of Duty", by Oscar Wilde.

Explain Lord Arthur's reconciliation with the prediction. How  does his solution to the problem contribute to the comedy of  the text?

Answer:

When Mr. Podgers, a palm reader, predicts Lord Arthur will murder someone, Arthur decides to do it as soon as possible to be able to marry Sybil after and not before to avoid her any pain. Each of his attempts to murder people fail, and he ends up killing the palm reader instead, and he gets away with it. However, we later discover that the palm reader was an impostor, meaning that Lord Arthur had been a victim of the power of suggestion.

Explanation:

The comedic effect comes when we discovered that Lord Arthur could have just ignored the prediction and everything would have been fine.

Write a thesis statement about cyber bullying
snow_lady [41]
Cyber Bullying may seem like nothing since there's no physical contact, but in reality it can hurt even more than the actual thing. Behind those monitors are real people with real feelings: some have been driven to depression, some even driven to physical bullying, and some have been driven to suicide.\
