One of the reasons why miners from Europe were wanted as workers in Oklahoma is that these miners were usually experienced. This was difficult to find in the Americas. Moreover, the miners from Europe were usually looking for work desperately, and were more willing to relocate to areas such as Oklahoma, where the population and the development were very limited.
