Max Weber was a German sociologist and historian amongst other things. His contributions to the field of Sociology were so great that he has been recognized as one of the father of the field.
Max Weber was interested on the effect that society had on individuals and believed that a sociologist should delve deeper past what can be observed at face value from a subject to enable them to uncover the feelings and thoughts of the individual.
