4 0

1.) If you graph the points you will find the (D) (-3,2) and (0,4) has a slope of 2/3

2.) If you graph this also you will find that it is a straight line, this means that the slope is 0.

3.) Slope-intercept form would be y=mx+b.

So you would subtract 3/4x from each side to get y by itself. Then you will have 4/5y=-3/4x+4. You need to get rid of the 4/5 to get y by itself so you need to multiply each side by 5/4.

(5/4)(-3/4)=-15/16. Don't forget the 4, so (4/1)(5/4). Make the denominator the same, (16,4)(5/4)=80/16 which simplifies down to 5. Now you have y=-15/16x+5. Now you know what the slope is and the y-intercept.

The slope will be -15/16 and the y-intercept will be 5.

So, 1) D 2) B 3)D

The admission fee at an amusement park is $12, and each ride costs $3.50. The park also offers an all-day pass with unlimited ri
gavmur [86]
Solve using system of equations.
y=total money spent, x=amount of rides
y=12+3.5x
y=33
Solve! Set them equal to each other
12+3.5x=33
-12 -12
3.5x=21
x=6
After six rides the all day pass would be cheaper. ;)

What is the value of y? NU=9, NM= 3, MT= 6, TN= y
nevsk [136]

Answer:

6\sqrt{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

We have to use Pythagoras' identity twice to find y

The square on the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares on the other two sides.

In right triangle MUT to find TU

TU² + 3² = 6², that is

TU² + 9 = 36 ( subtract 9 from both sides )

TU = 27 ( take the square root of both sides )

TU = \sqrt{27} = \sqrt{9(3)} = 3\sqrt{3}

In right triangle NUT to find y

y² = 9² + (3\sqrt{3} )² = 81 + 27 = 108 ( take the square root of both sides )

y = \sqrt{108} = \sqrt{36(3)} = 6\sqrt{3}
