The sentence that contains a faulty parallel structure is the sentence, "He exercised while I watch television." The wrong part of this sentence is that, the first verb uses a past form, and then the next verb uses the present form. It is using the conjunction "while" meaning both verbs or action happen at the same time. Therefore, the verbs should either be both past form or both present form.
In "Things Fall Apart" by Chinua Achebe, the British colonized Africa by converting lower class people and outcasts to Christianity, bought their own form of government ("But apart from the church, the white men had also brought a government.") and even imprisoned men of higher titles for acts that are illegal under British law "... Some of these prisoners had thrown away their twins ..." The British were able to conquer some areas such as Abame, and in Umuofia they had turned the men against each other with their influence. As Obierika says to Okonkwo, "... Now he has won our brothers, and our clan can no longer act like one. He has put a knife on the things that held us together and we have fallen apart.”
Answer:
Dearest Aunt,
How are you? I'm happy living in England with my dog, Petunia. She's always happy to meet new people and I know she'll be happy to meet you someday. I would suggest you come visit me, that way we'll both be happy to see you here! I've made some new friends studying abroad here in England. My best friend here is Melissa. She's quite kind and funny. Petunia loves her too. I hope to see you soon my dear aunt. Take Care!
Yours,
