Answer: 1) Carol can use the surve results to . identify the building blocks of competitive advantage and develop strategies to use them to increase profitability and in this way try to get the most out of it.

2) Strategically, managers who have identified these advanced factors should take steps to protect these assets, either formally or as a trade secret, optimize the company's use of them and not outsource them to other firms because it is convenient to try that the competition does not find out about the use of this factor of production so that it cannot imitate them and thus be able to gain a greater market share to the competition.

3) The statement "in response to requests from customers for healthier food on the menu, a restaurant tweaks its recipe for its most popular sandwich to remove processed ingredients and replace them with fresh vegetables." describes a strategy that adds value to multiple factors as it goes through several activities in the value chain because the company's decision to use less processed ingredients and more fresh vegetables not only facilitates production but also responds to a customer need, which will value the products even more.

ABC Corporation distributes property to its sole shareholder, Andre. The property has a fair market value of $350,000, an adjust
saul85 [17]

Answer:

ABC has a gain of $145,000 and Andre's dividend income is $130,000

Explanation:

Property ABC issued, has the following:

fair market value = $350,000

Adjusted basis = $205,000

Liability = $220,000

Calculate ABC's Corporation gain:

Gain = market value - Adjusted basis

= $350,000 - $205,000

= $145,000

ABC has a gain of $145,000

Calculate Andre's dividend income since he is the sole shareholder:

Dividend earnings = fair market value - liability

= $350,000 - $220,000

= $130,000

Andre's dividend income is $130,000

Correct option is D.

With respect to distribution, ABC has a gain of $145,000 and Andre's dividend income is $130,000

V. Cost of goods sold= ($ 460,000 /20,000)*21,000= 483,000

Direct materials . = $200,000 /20,000)*21,000= 210,000

Direct labor = 160,000/20,000)*21,000= 168,000

Variable overhead = 60,000 /20,000)*21,000= 63,000

Variable Operating Expenses = 40,000 /20,000)*21,000= 42,000

All calculations are carried out in the same way. Dividing the amount in the given budget with the number of units and multiplying it with actual number of units.

Flexible Contribution Margin 147,000 and Actual Contribution Margin 139,000 which shows a Variance of 8000 which is unfavorable.

abruzzese [7]

Answer:

The answer is option (C) authority-compliance style.

Explanation:

The authority-compliance style In the context of the Blake/Mouton leadership grid describes when managers or bosses are overly concerned about the effectiveness with which their employees or subordinates get work done without regard for the well being of such employees.

This kind of dictatorial management style is due to the fact that a manager or boss believes that the needs of his/her subordinates or employees are relatively unimportant when compared to achieving success or getting work effectively done.

Explain what the national debt is and two ways to affects the country
Sati [7]
A National Debt is the amount of money obtained by one country from another that has not been paid. This can effect a country by means of loss of land actually owned, or it can cause agencies (e.g. Social Security Administration) to be cut on their budget. Meaning the agency to be cut of operational funding will loose a certain amount of funding until funds are found. Normally multiple agencies are cut to obtain some of the money to pay back the debt but this can really hurt agencies for reasoning of staffing as well as other operational costs. Hope this helps!
