It brought economic and political dominance of the US.

For the United States, the post-World War II period was one of peace and prosperity. The Americans used the money they had saved during World War II to purchase consumer goods that were not available during the conflict. With the subsequent boom in the economy, thousands of people found jobs in the United States. The Americans were making more money and the nation had the highest standard of living in the world.

American society was also changing. The population of the United States has grown a lot due to the high birth rate: soldiers returning from the war have established families and had children. Medical advances have also raised life expectancy for Americans. A law imposed in 1965 allowed more Asians and Latin Americans to immigrate to the country.

In the space provided, explain the Kansas-Nebraska act and compare the effects of this act to the Missouri Compromise
RideAnS [48]
The Kansas-Nebraska act was a long debate to decide if Kansas and Nebraska should be slave states or not. Throughout these debates there were many votings between the southern and northern states. Eventually Kansas was yeeted and wasn't a state anymore. Then after a while Kansas became a state. It was a very confusing time but, that's the best summary I could come up with. Hope that helps you and if you have any other questions just ask me. I'll try my best to help.
