Yes I think he actually sleeps there because throughout the whole poem he talks about how he loves this girl an how beautiful she is. Also by the other Edgar Allen Poe poems and stories I've read by him he seems to talk about death and is very literal about it.

There is evidence for both views (that he sleeps there, or that it's his imagination) and I'll write them here.
a. He actually sleeps in his love's tomb because Annabel Lee was the only person he cared about, and her loss actually drove him crazy, so he has to spend every night with her. He can't bear being separated from Annabel Lee, "my darling - my darling - my life and my bride," so he lies down by her side every night. Also, they were children when they first fell in love, so after Annabel's death, his mind might have stayed a child's mind, and become so demented that he has to sleep in her sepulcher. In his demented mind, he believes that Annabel is still alive, and that he goes to sleep with her every night.

b. He doesn't sleep in Annabel Lee's sepulcher; it's cold and dark in there! This is from his imagination because the lines before it are all figurative (dreaming of Annabel, and seeing her bright eyes in the stars). The symbolic meaning of lying down by her tomb means that he wants to always stay by her side, and die when she dies (when he lies down in a tomb, it symbolizes him dying). This powerful metaphor emphasizes the poet's undying devotion and love toward Annabel Lee.

bezimeni [28]

Answer:

I think you need to get to 25 to be a Expert I'm a Ace and it took 50 to get this far, so 7/10 meaning you need three more brainliest to level up. Moreover tho it didn't go by that you add your brainliest later on so you will need 20 or 25 to get on Expert level I don't remember which because I been on Ace for two months now.

How might Troy Maxson be considered a privileged or superior person?
irina [24]

Unclear question. However, I inferred you are referring to the story "Fences".

Explanation:

Now that in the story mention was made that "Troy Mason lived in his own little world and that he viewed the people in his life as revolving around him". The expression "he viewed the people in his life as revolving around him" indicates his privileged position which makes him feel superior to others.

What interpretation of The Tempest was the same in both the Utah Valley
insens350 [35]

Answer: D. Prospero was powerful and in control.

Explanation:

Prospero is a character from William Shakespeare's the Tempest, a wizard which ends up on an enchanted island with his daughter, and uses his charms to take revenge on his enemies.

In different productions, his character is interpreted in different ways. The productions, however, usually present Prospero as a rather strong character. This is also the case in both the Utah Valley University and Balinese production. Prospero is presented as a powerful magician, who pulls the strings and controls the situation. In Utah Valley production, Prospero is an angry man, while in Balinese production, he remains calm and relaxed.

Examine Macbeth and Lady Macbeth before Duncan’s murder. In what ways are they alike and different? Explain in 8-10 sentences.
GrogVix [38]
Okay, so I am not going to write this whole thing for you, however I will compare and contrast the two.

Lady Macbeth
She really wants her husband to carry out the murders bc she is thirsty to be queen

Macbeth
Kinda hesitant to do it, questions if he can but let's his wife persuade him into doing it. After murdering Duncan, Macbeth kinda freaks out and leaves the daggers in Duncan's room and Lady Macbeth has to go back and fix her hubby's mistake
