Chen Sheng and Wu Guang are known for the Daze Village Uprising.

The Daze Village Uprising, also known as Dazexiang Uprising or the Uprising of Chen Sheng and Wu Guang, was the first uprising against Qin rule. Chen Sheng and Wu Guang were army officers ordered to lead their bands of commoner soldiers so as to participate in the defense of Yuyang. Due to a severe rainstorm, they were stopped halfway. Assuming they would rather fight for their freedom than face execution for showing up late for a government job, they both organized hundreds of villagers to rebel against the government.

The Mesolithic is the Old World archaeological period between the Upper Paleolithic and the Neolithic. Neolithic, also called New Stone Age, final stage of cultural evolution or technological development among prehistoric humans. ... The Neolithic followed the Paleolithic Period, or age of chipped-stone tools, and preceded the Bronze Age, or early period of metal tools. Hominids are the group of primates that includes humans, gorillas, and chimpanzees, among others.
