1 b. Sarah roller skates with a constant speed of 16 miles per hour. How far can she travel in 150 minutes?
marin [14]

Answer:

40 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

Velocity - 16 miles / hour

time = 150 minutes

Displacement = velocity * time

First, you need to convert the velocity from miles to hour to miles to minute.

\frac{16miles}{hour}  * \frac{1 hr}{60 minutes}  = \frac{16 miles}{60 minutes}  = 0.2667 miles/minute

Displacement = 0.2667miles per minute * 150 minutes = 40 miles
