Answer:

The correct answer who should have their leadership.

Explanation:

After the death of the Prophet Muhammad, a struggle among Muslims started about who should lead the Umma, which is the community of Muslim believers. A big majority were of the idea that the leadership should be in the hands of the most qualified person of the Umma, while another group thought that the Caliph should be a member of the Prophet's family. The first group also followed a collection of the documented facts and teaching of the Prophet called Sunnah, thus they were called Sunnis. The second group was formed by followers of Ali, the Prophet's nephew, who they thought was the legitimate successor. Therefore they were called Shia, which in Arabic means follower.

Supporters of the temperance movement advocated for change primarily because why? they believed drinking was the most important
In-s [12.5K]

Supporters of the temperance movement advocated for Prohibition mainly because they believed drinking was the most important cause of society’s problems.

The temperance movement, formed primarily by Christian denominations, had spread the idea that alcohol was the major cause of the problems that American society was facing. They blamed alcohol for the increasing rate of crime, poverty, violence and the spreading of illnesses. For this reason, they became the main promoters of the Prohibition Act.
