x . 6 = \frac{3}{8}

Pass 6 as division

x = \frac{\frac{3}{8}}{6}

As we know:

\frac{\frac{a}{b}}{\frac{c}{d}}=\frac{a.d}{b.c}

So,

x = \frac{3}{8.6}

x = \frac{3}{48}

Simplify by 3

x = \frac{1}{16}

Hey there!

This is basically a <u>translation </u>into real world equation

So, this question is asking <em>When a number x is multiplied by, the result is \frac{3}{8}. what is the value of x </em>

First, we will highlight your <u><em>keywords</em></u> in this equation

<em>Number: x \\ Multiplied(Multiplication): * \\ 6:6 \\ Result: = (equal)\\ \frac{3}{8}  = \frac{3}{8}</em>

The equation would look like this: 6*x = \frac{3}{8}

Let's solve for our answer, shall we!

6*x = \frac{3}{8} \\ \\   Divide By 6On  Each Of Your Sides \\  \\ \frac{6x}{6} = \frac{3/8}{6}  \\ \\ CancelOut: \frac{6x}{6} \\  Keep:  \frac{3/8}{6} \\ \\ \frac{3/8}{6}  = \frac{1}{16}  \\ \\ \\ \\ Answer: x = \frac{1}{16}

Good luck on your assignment and enjoy your day!

Answer: Choice A

Raising something to the 1/4th power is the same as applying the 4th root to that expression. Raising an expression to the 1/n power is the same as applying the nth root.

Rule:
x^{1/n} = \sqrt[n]{x}
(if the text is too small it basically says x to the (1/n) = square root with a small 'n' all over x)

What is an equation of the line that passes through the point (5,-3) and is parallel to the line x+5y=45?
zvonat [6]

\btext{x+5y=-10}

Step-by-step explanation:

When two lines are parallel,their slopes are equal.

Given line is x+5y=45.

Let m be the slope of the line.

m=-5.

It is given that the line passes through the point (5,-3).

The equation of the line passing through (x_{1},y_{1}) and has slope m is y-y_{1}=m(x-x_{1})

x_{1}=5

y_{1}=-3

m=-5

So, the equation is y-5=-5(x+3)

which simplifies to x+5y=-10

A soccer ball was kicked in the air and follows the path h(x)=−2x(squared)+1x+6, where x is the time in seconds and h is the hei
nata0808 [166]

Answer:

You can either factor or use quadratic formula to find where h(x)=0

Step-by-step explanation:

Remember that the ball is on the ground when h(x)=0 since that is the height. There will be two zeros,  one is a negative number so would be before you kicked the ball, the other one will be when the ball comes back down.
