Answer:  The system of linear inequalities to model the number of hours that you could work at each location in a week are,

Subject : 5x+7y,

x+y\leq 15 and x\geq 4, where x represents number of hours  in tips working at a video store and y represents number of hours  working at a landscaping company.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x represents number of hours  in tips working at a video store and y represents number of hours  working at a landscaping company.

Therefore total cost which have to be maximized,

Z= 5x+7y,

Now, we must work at least four hours per week at the video store,

Therefore, x\geq 4

And, the total number of hours you work at both jobs and weak cannot be greater than 15.

Therefore,  x+y\leq 15

Thus, the required system of equation is, Z= 5x+7y, x+y\leq 15 , x\geq 4,

Since, at ( 4,11) Z= 97 which is maximum value.

Thus the solution of the above system of equation is x=4 and y=11.

Are these correct? If not please help me write the correct answer.
Keith_Richards [23]

Answer:

Mostly correct

For Q3, you are doing great, you remembered that negative numbers can happen if the exponent is an odd number.

For Q4, I think you were confused with the fractions,

4(i)

(\frac{2}{3} )^{4} = (\frac{2^{4}}{3^{4}}) = (\frac{16}{81}) =0.198

4(ii) is also wrong but I'll let you try to fix it yourself following what I given you for 4(i). You should get 1/64

Hope this helps!

Two groups went bowling. Here are the scores from each group.
vladimir2022 [97]

Answer:

Group A has greater variability

Step-by-step explanation:

Group A: 80, 100, 190, 110, 70, 90, 130

The variability of group A data :

Taking the range :

Maximum  = 190 ; Minimum = 70

Range = Maximum - Minimum ; 190 - 70 = 120

Group B : 50, 110, 100, 120, 107, 140, 150

The variability of group B data :

Taking the range :

Maximum  = 150 ; Minimum = 50

Range = Maximum - Minimum ; 150 - 50 = 100

Hence, Group A has greater variability
