Answer:

In Athenian direct democracy, all citizens vote on rules and laws. While in Representative Democracy, citizens vote for representatives, who in turn vote for rules and laws on behalf of cutizens they are representing.

Explanation:

Athenian democracy is a form of democracy, which is considered to be direct in its application, it was developed around the sixth century BC in the Greek city-state known as a polis of Athens

Often referred to as the first known democracy in the world, it involves a political system of legislation and executive bills. in which all the eligible citizens (male citizens) were allowed to vote for the rules and laws of the land.

While Representative Democracy, is a form of democracy which involves a system of government in which all eligible citizens vote on representatives, to pass laws for them.

In other words, it is a system of government, whereby people (eligible citizens) vote for representatives who then vote on policy initiatives.

For example, Democracy in USA is a form of Representative Democracy.

Do all markets function the same way around the world
gregori [183]
NO. All market is not the same around the world or everywhere and they are different with each other. Unfortunately, markets do not function, it's the people. Quora mentions "function of the markets", a figure of speech because abstracting human behavior to the behavior of the system is useful, as long as we do not forget that it is an abstraction and not a real thing. It is easier to understand "the functioning of the market" rather than "what happens when people interact with each other" as markets are the interactions of people.
