Answer:

The appropriate possessive adjective in each case is:

1. Mi familia es ecuatoriana.
2. Tu esposo es italiano.
3. Su reloj.
4. Nuestro profesor es español.
5. Es tu mochila.
6. Es tu maleta.
7. Su sobrina es alemana.
8. Nuestros primos son canadienses.
9. Sus lápices.
10. Mis amigas son inglesas.
11. Nuestras plumas.
12. Mis papeles.
13. Sus nietos son japoneses.
14. Son sus cuadernos.

Explanation:

The translation of the sentences is:

1. My family is Ecuadorian.
2. Your husband is Italian.
3. Her watch.
4. Our teacher is Spanish.
5. It is your backpack.
6. It is your suitcase.
7. Their niece is German.
8. Our cousins are Canadians.
9. Their pencils.
10. My friends are English.
11. Our pens.
12. My papers.
13. Their grandchildren are Japanese.
14. They are his notebooks.

In Spanish, possessive adjectives not only depend on the personal pronoun to which the object belongs (directly) or the person (indirectly) but also the gender and number of said possession must be identified (remember that in Spanish nouns have gender and number), which is why I present below the possessive adjectives that apply based on each personal pronoun and then I will mention how to identify the appropriate one according to gender and number:

• Yo: mi, mis.
• Tú: tu, tus.
• Usted/Él/Ella/Ello/Ustedes/Ellos/Ellas: su, sus.
• Nosotros/Nosotras: nuestra, nuestro, nuestras, nuestros.
• Vosotros/Vosotras: vuestro, vuestra, vuestros, vuestras.

A simple way to identify the possessive adjective depending on gender and number is as follows:

1. Possessive adjective finished in "a" when the noun is female and singular.
2. Possessive adjective finished in "o" when the noun is male and singular.
3. Possessive adjective finished in "as" when the noun is female and plural.
4. Possessive adjective finished in "os" when the noun is male and plural.

Remember that this last explanation is for those possessive adjectives that distinguish between gender and number, that is, those that are linked to personal pronouns "Nosotros/Nosotras/Vosotros/Vosotras."

Nosotros __________ el suelo.
skad [1K]

Answer:

Nosotros barremos el suelo "we sweep the floor."

Explanation:

Prendemos would mean "we light the ground," sacuden would mean "we shake the ground," and barren is the incorect verb form. Barren is used for ustedes, and in this situation we are reffering to ourselves and not somebody else.
