$\frac{2x}{x + 3} - \frac{3}{x - 4}$

The LCM of x+3 and x-4 is x² - x - 12

Working out gives;

$\frac{2x^2 - 8x - 3x - 9}{x^2 - x - 12} = \frac{2x^2 - 11x - 9}{x^2 - x - 12}$
