Physical changes can affect the lives of the elderly through :

- sickness ( makes the body weak )

- diseases ( diabetes, cancer, high blood pressure)

- no longer look the same ( balding, frail, wrinkles, sagging skin).

- don't move as easy ( have to have assistance, a cane, can't run or walk as much)

Well that is simple. when a person begins to age a lot of times they are not able to do as much for themselves as they used to. their lives will be changed because they will need assistance from someone to complete their daily tasks.  <span />

elena-s [515]

Answer:

sit at the bedside and allow the client to explain the statement.

Explanation:

It is the duty of nurses to ensure that client's complains are heard and recorded for lesson learned and improvements. All other options does not allow the nurse to listen to the concerns of the patient, apart from the chosen option. In nursing ethics, it is important for the nurse to sit and listen to the patient's concern before trying to provide an explanation or solution.
