Answer:

As part of its effort to encourage assimilation, the government created a system of boarding schools for Indian children.  Many churches also created and paid for schools to help educate Indian children.

The effort was well-intentioned and gave thousands of young Indians better opportunities in life.

Some historians today criticize the entire effort, however.  These critics say the schools were wrong to push the children away from their own native culture.

 Explanation:

(Assimilation means to blend into a different culture.)

Which of the targets shown on the map were US-controlled
solong [7]

The correct answer is Philippines

Japanese expansionism took place around 1901 when Japan modernized, it finally ceased to be a feudal country and became a capitalist country, with certain expansion policies in which it was believed that to satisfy Japanese needs, it was necessary to guarantee a situation stable economic situation.

Everything started in 1903, when the Japanese national government felt a great lack of energy resources. Until 1905, the country did not want any alternative to remedy this deficiency, in addition it was completely isolated from certain issues such as loans to foreign countries, funds, among others. In other words, Japan urgently needed to obtain energy resources to restore its economy. Thus, in that same period, Japan, which had already invested a lot of money in military force, enters the current South Korea without major problems, dominates the capital Seoul in just three days and begins the so-called “Japanese expansionism”. Also in the midst of all this, Japan manages to dominate the China Sea, thus expanding the Japanese Sea, as well as dominating some Pacific islands.
