Assuming you're referring to the raid on Harper's Ferry, Douglass's account could indeed be trusted based on the fact that he had communicated extensively with John Brown (although his bias should still be taken into account, of course).

Which battle reversed the war in the East in favor of the Union?
egoroff_w [7]

The correct answer is Gettysburg.

Prior to the Battle of Gettysburg, Lee's Army of Northern Virginia was on a roll and had the idea that if they took the war to the North, it might test the resolve of the Northern people and force a peace.

Lee lost the battle though and turned tail. The Southern Army never made it above the Mason Dixon Line again

Identify the primary purpose of the International Red Cross.
fredd [130]

Answer:

B. To assist victims of war and armed conflict

Explanation:

I think this is the correct answer.

The Red Cross is a medical foundation to help heal people in wars. It is like a first aid medical institution. I know that Clara Barton founded the US Red Cross after seeing the red Cross in Europe. From this knowledge I would assume that this is the answer. Hope this helps, good luck!

Please give brainliest if this is correct! :D

How does the book "sold" relate to the 21st century skills
olga55 [171]

Answer:

Language and Education

Language and literacy have power in the novel Sold. Even in a society that is pretty male-dominated and power-oriented, Ama recognizes the value of education—and as a result, Lakshmi attends school at home on the swallow-tailed peak, and she knows how to read and write in her home language.
