If there is a choice of nations in Europe, especially in Western Europe, which uphold religious freedom and tolerance between Spain, England, France, and the Netherlands, the most rational response is the Netherlands. This can be seen from various country regulations and the level of violence and discrimination towards certain religions.

Explanation:

• Tolerance

The criterion for determining which countries in Europe have the highest tolerance is to look at how people respect each other's religions and beliefs. One of them we can see from a survey conducted by Pew Research in the Netherlands is that the country is ranked first in Europe in terms of religious freedom. Meanwhile, for the world level, the Netherlands is ranked 11th in terms of being the best country.

• Perspectives about immigrants

Then the next major thing that has become its main point of seeing religious freedom and high tolerance in the Netherlands is how this nation-state sees immigrants. Particularly from nations currently engaged in violent conflicts, such as several nations in the Middle East. This did not occur in the Netherlands when many nations recently started to behave towards these refugees. Precisely in the Netherlands, the acceptability of immigrants is very concentrated.

There the governments start to voice their immigrant aspirations. Along with their background, regardless of that. Issues of religion, gender, and race in specific. Not only political leaders but also most Dutch people from various backgrounds, expressed the same thing.

• The attack

The next indicator that makes a country the most religious liberty tolerant is the number of attack and how safe people practice their religion. Overall, this issue does not concern the Netherlands. There is no intensity of attacks on several religions. This is different in contrast, for example, with other countries such as France, which have had several attacks on certain religions in recent past.

Answer:

Netherlands

Explanation:

Unlike in most of Central and Western Europe, the Netherlands were a country that didn't had big problems with the religion. While there were turmoils in France, England, Spain and the rest countries, Netherlands remained peaceful and the people were united. Across Europe there were persecutions, executions, forced migrations, forced conversions, all because of the different views on the religion. Netherlands, on the other hand, was not like this. The country had a policy of religious tolerance, and it actually became a refugee for lot of people that were running away from religious persecutions. This benefited the Netherlands greatly actually, as the country gained more people, resulting in more brain power, more labor force, and more military, and it helped the country grow and develop.

Answer:

On July 18, 1936, the Spanish Civil War begins as a revolt by right-wing Spanish military officers in Spanish Morocco and spreads to mainland Spain. From the Canary Islands, General Francisco Franco broadcasts a message calling for all army officers to join the uprising and overthrow Spain’s leftist Republican government. Within three days, the rebels captured Morocco, much of northern Spain, and several key cities in the south. The Republicans succeeded in putting down the uprising in other areas, including Madrid, Spain’s capital. The Republicans and the Nationalists, as the rebels were called, then proceeded to secure their respective territories by executing thousands of suspected political opponents. Meanwhile, Franco flew to Morocco and prepared to bring the Army of Africa over to the mainland.

worty [1.4K]

The correct responses:

b. The Colonies have all the power of any other independent nation.

e. The Colonies are declaring independence.

Historical context/detail:

The quoted section comes from the Declaration of Independence (1776), which was written on behalf of the American colonies by Thomas Jeffersons. In preparing the Declaration of Independence, Jefferson and the American patriots were asserting their right to govern themselves and throw off the government of the British monarchy. The American founding fathers got ideas like this from the Enlightenment philosopher John Locke. According to Locke's view, a government's power to govern comes from the consent of the people themselves -- those who are to be governed. Locke argued for the rights of the people to create their own governments according to their own desires and for the sake of protecting their own life, liberty, and property. This also meant the right to change a government if the existing government did not protect those rights.

In the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson offered a list of "facts to be submitted to a candid world" to demonstrate that the British king had been seeking to establish "an absolute Tyranny over these States" (the colonial states which were declaring their independence). Revolution was justified, in the view taken by the colonists, if it could be shown that the British government was acting in tyrannical ways toward the colonies.
