  • A media-literate person understand that media messages are all created for a purpose to cause appropriate emotions in the person and some of the media messages can affect on people's behavior.

Media messages can be found in memes, social media, video games, advertising, viral videos and text messages. For example, text message that someone is sending for us have the purpose to ,for example, inform us, to make us happy, sad, angry and more. If that text message is having happy context it is surely that it had purpose to make us laugh or to make us happy.

I would say your answer is creating tension. the rest dont seem to work since refuting a counterclaim will make the argument weaker, but it will help the story, not bring it down. it obviously doesnt make the argument stonger, and the main purpose is for the audience to see both sides. so my answer would be creating tension. hope this helps
