Area=l x w
= 9 x 9 = 81
= 81 inch squared is the answer because if it is a square all the sides are equal so if a square calendar's side is 9 inch squared every side is 9 inch squared so if you have to find the area you have to multiply 9 x 9 = 81 inch squared and you will get the answer

Which linear function represents the line given by the point-slope equation
Setler79 [48]

Rewrite the given y – 8 = 1/2(x – 4), replacing "y" with "f(x)."

Then f(x) – 8 = 1/2(x – 4)

Multiply all 3 terms by 2 to eliminate the fraction (1/2):

2f(x) = 16 + x - 4

Combine like terms: 2f(x) = x + 12

x + 12

Divide both sides by 2: f(x) = -----------

2

Note that this is equivalent to f(x) = (1/2)x + 6. Important: Use parentheses as indicated.

In triangle DEF, m∠D=45, m∠E=63, and EF=24 in. What is DE to the nearest tenth of an inch?
miskamm [114]
In order to use the Law of Sines, EF has to be the included side. Therefore, we need to calculate angle F which is 72 degrees.

side f / sine (F) = side d / sine (D)
side f / sine (72) = side 24 / sine (45)
side f = sine (72) * 24 / sine (45)
side f = 0.95106 * 24 / .70711
side f (DE) = 32.2798998741
