Mechanical weathering is defined as a natural process. It occurs when big rocks are broken down into smaller rocks. Sometimes you will hear it referred to as “physical weathering.” There are lots of different things that can cause physical weathering. For example, temperature changes and rain can both cause weathering.

Second, the oligosaccharides are modified by specific glycosyltransferases that transfer these molecules to selected Asparagine (Asn) acceptor residues of polypeptide chains that have entered the lumen of the ER. These N-glycans are firstly assembled as a dolichol-linked precursor oligosaccharide at the cytoplasmic face of the ER.
