Answer: The right answer is the B) His fear that he will look foolish and powerless.

Explanation: Just to elaborate a little on the answer, it can be added that the narrator of this famous essay by English writer George Orwell mentions that the locals do not like him, ignore him and do not show any respect for him. He, nevertheless, understands the resentment of the locals towards him and towards his fellow citizens, since they are the conquerors. When confronted with the task of killing the elephant, he is initially very reluctant to do it, but he eventually accomplishes his task, because he feels that he is expected to do so, and, if he does not do it, the locals will see him as a fool and powerless official.

How is lucifer depicted in gustave dore interpretation of the Inferno
const2013 [10]

As how The Inferno was written, you will see how vague Gustave Dore was in describing the details of Lucifer. It’s seen that Satan/Lucifer has no actual character, but rather a form of negativity and mockery of the Holy Trinity. The body is also shown to be stuck up to the waist which made it vague, but some experts agreed on the fact that it shows the futility of people’s immobility towards their life if they don’t move on to improve it. Therefore, it shows that Lucifer is being depicted as evil, and that evil means a man being useless in their life.

If you are not able to complete a question right away, clues to the answer may be hidden in other test questions. True or False,
swat32
True. It is often the case that additional information can be implied, calculated, or directly brought forward from earlier questions. This is not necessarily the case, however, as you may not be able to complete a question right away due to a lack of knowledge or understanding; but the use of 'may' in the question makes this a true statement.
