You can do a quick calculation of the grades with their weighted percent!!

if you assume that your grade combines to 100% total, and the midterm that's 10% of your grade has yet to be factored in, this would mean that you've received 90% of your grades. in this 90%, you got an 80.

so, at 90% you scored an 80%. at 10% you scored a 100%. you need to combine the two of these to represent how your assignments/tests/homework combine to 100% (90 of that finished, 10 of that coming from your midterm). create an addition problem that represents this, converting percents to decimals:

(0.90)(0.80) + (0.10)(1.00) = .82, or 82%

your final grade would be an 82% in the class.

A company manager for a tire manufacturer is in charge of making sure there is the least amount of defective tires. If the tire
Anestetic [448]

Answer:

0.347% of the total tires will be rejected as underweight.

Step-by-step explanation:

For a standard normal distribution, (with mean 0 and standard deviation 1), the lower and upper quartiles are located at -0.67448 and +0.67448 respectively. Thus the interquartile range (IQR) is 1.34896.

And the manager decides to reject a tire as underweight if it falls more than 1.5 interquartile ranges below the lower quartile of the specified shipment of tires.

1.5 of the Interquartile range = 1.5 × 1.34896 = 2.02344

1.5 of the interquartile range below the lower quartile = (lower quartile) - (1.5 of Interquartile range) = -0.67448 - 2.02344 = -2.69792

The proportion of tires that will fall 1.5 of the interquartile range below the lower quartile = P(x < -2.69792) ≈ P(x < -2.70)

Using data from the normal distribution table

P(x < -2.70) = 0.00347 = 0.347% of the total tires will be rejected as underweight

Hope this Helps!!!

Which shows a function that is decreasing<br>over its entire graph? Working on it now need ASAP
PtichkaEL [24]

One thing everyone always forgets is we don't usually see the <em>entire</em> graph.  Once out of the frame, these functions can do anything they want.

From what we can see, only the bottom right one is always decreasing.

Answer: bottom right

By the way, the top right graph (a vertical line) isn't a function.
