<u>Answer:</u>

Graph 2

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

We are given the following compound inequalities and we are to find its solution and then determine whether which of the graphs correctly shows it"

4 x < 1 6 or 1 1 x > 1 2 1

x < \frac { 1 6 } { 4 } , x > \frac { 1 2 1 } { 1 1 }

x > 4, x > 1 1

Therefore, graph 2 shows it correctly.

Answer:

Option 2 is correct answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

4x<16  ,dividing both sides by 4 ,we get x<4

11x>121 ,dividing both sides by 11, we get x >11

It means all the on number line except between 4 and 11.

that is all the value less than 4 and greater than 11.

in the given option the region is shown by red lines and since both sides it is

strictly less then therefore it is open at both ended.

so the solution is given by option 2

Ghella [55]

Answer:

\dfrac{x}{4}-\dfrac{7}{12}

Step-by-step explanation:

The fraction is the equivalent of ...

\dfrac{1}{12}{(3x-7)

and the distributive property applies.

=\dfrac{1}{12}(3x)-\dfrac{1}{12}(7)\\\\=\dfrac{3\cdot x}{3\cdot 4}-\dfrac{7}{12}\\\\=\dfrac{x}{4}-\dfrac{7}{12}

During 30 minutes on the treadmill, LaToya burned 20 calories per minute. What is the rate of change of the function that repres
Genrish500 [490]
The answer I believe is 10 calories per minute because 20 x30 =600 I did that because she burned 20 calories per minute so with that being said there’s 60 minutes is the maximum minutes any time can go to so you do 600 divided by 60 which equals 10 which means she burns 10 calories per minute hope this is right

Can someone tell me how to do this! #2 &amp; #4
torisob [31]
2) The area is 1.1 m^2 because to find the area the formula is width*length. SO you would separate it. It would be 0.9 * 1 = 0.9 and 0.4 * 0.5 = 0.2. Then you add it together. So it would be 1.1 m^2. The perimeter is all the sides added together so 4.2 m, but it says mm so you have to convert it and you get 4200.
4) Area is 1.16 cm^2. Again you would seperate it. So, 1 * 1 = 1 and .2 * .8 = .16. Then you add it together and get 1.16 cm^2. The perimeter is all the sides added up. You get 4.2 cm.
