Mathematics

There are only eight of them, because  9²  is more than  80 .

If I must, here they are:

1²  =  1
2²  =  4
3²  =  9
4²  =  16
5²  =  25
6²  =  36
7²  =  49
8²  =  64

You should be able to rattle off this list.

8 angles are formed by a transversal that intersects two parallel lines. Angles Alpha and Epsilon are Consecutive Exterior Angle
Afina-wow [57]

Answer:

113 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

Since, Angles Alpha and Epsilon are Consecutive Exterior Angles.

\therefore m\angle \alpha +  m\angle \epsilon = 180 \degree \\  \\ \therefore m\angle \alpha +  67 \degree= 180 \degree \\  \\  \therefore m\angle \alpha   = 180 \degree  -67 \degree \\  \\ \therefore m\angle \alpha   = 113 \degree

To test whether an integer, $n$, is prime, it is enough to be sure that none of the primes less than or equal to the square root
IrinaK [193]

Answer:

the largest divisor is less than the square root of that number

Step-by-step explanation:

Pick any number between 900 and 950 . For example I choose 937 . Now taking the square root of 937 would give 30.61

So divide 937 with all the primes less  than 30.61

937/2, 937/3, 937/5,...................937/29

29 would be the largest divisor which is less than the square root of 937 .

29< 30.61

But if you check 937 does not divide wholly with any of the primes hence it is a prime number itself.

If any number such 925 is chosen and it gets divided wholly by another prime like 5

925 /5= 185  so it is not a prime number

4(3x+5)= -4
NeX [460]

Answer/explanation

4(3x+5)=-4

You will distribute the four to every term in the parenthesis,

12x+20=-4

Then you will combine like terms

12x+20=-4

     -20  -20

12x=-24

Then you will divide 12 to isolate x

\frac{12x}{-24} =\frac{-24}{-24}

Obviously, -24 cancels out and you would get x=-2
