Answer: It's telling you to plan ahead, but the sign itself has  evidently not planned ahead because there is not enough room for the "d" at the bottom. It also does not follow the instructions of doing it right the first time.

Which word is acceptable in apa style format?
Gennadij [26K]
C. Because

You should avoid words like “etcetera” and “that’s” because they’re informal. “You” simply should not be used unless you’re writing in 2nd person, as you probably learned in elementary school.

“She walks in beauty”
olga55 [171]

Answer:

-i would say the tone is in awe, admiration, and astonishment.

-because awe is 'a feeling of reverential respect mixed with fear or <u><em>wonder.</em></u>'

admiration because 'respect and warm approval. something regarded as impressive or worthy of respect.'

-astonishment because 'great surprise.' and amazed.

beauty is describing someone who is beautiful, but, in this case, she <em>walks</em> in beauty meaning that they notice her and feel to admire, respect, and to wonder. and i don't mean wonder as in thinking i mean wonder as in 'a feeling of surprise mingled with admiration, caused by something beautiful, unexpected, unfamiliar, or inexplicable.'

The basketball team have won every game so far or has won
alexdok [17]
The basketball team HAS WON every game so far.

Team is a collective noun and it should be treated as a subject in a singular form unless indications are presented in the sentence.

Since it is in a singular form, the verb should also be in a singular form. Thus, the use of "has won" instead of have won.
