If x is the number of songs he could buy

This is is the inequality
9.50 \leqslant 1.25x + 5.75
He can't spend more than $9.50 and has to keep $5.75, so subtract it because he can't spend it on songs.
3.75 \leqslant 1.25x
Divide 3.75 by 1.25 to finish solv8ng the inequality.
x \leqslant 3
He can buy 3 or less songs, a maximum of 3 songs.

a line with a positive slope and a line with a negative slope are parallel. sometimes always or never?
otez555 [7]

Answer:

Never

Step-by-step explanation:

This statement is never true. Parallel lines have the exact same slope in every instance. This means that if one is negative and one is positive, then they can never be the same.
