Answer:

B) There's no apostle I would counterfeit.

Explanation:

Geoffrey Chaucer's "The Canterbury Tales" is a collection of tales told by the group of pilgrims on their way to Canterbury. This story telling is a way of passing the time while also providing entertainment alongside.

The Prologue to the Pardoner's tale shows the true nature of the pardoner, who was willing to do anything to get whatever he wants. He did not shy away from telling what he expects and wants from them, nor does he hide his 'illegal' activities to get money. The true nature of the pardoner can be seen when he said in line 119 "<em>There is no apostle I would counterfeit</em>" (<em>I wol non of the apostles counterfete</em>). In it, he openly proclaims and justifies his act of living a life of avarice and not like the apostles who lived a life of holiness.

What is likely to happen to the interest of a credit card with an introductory APR?
sweet-ann [11.9K]

Explanation:

Once an introductory APR for purchases ends, the portion of your balance that comes from new purchases will be assigned a new APR and start to accrue interest at that rate. The specific rate you'll be charged will depend on your creditworthiness, and will be assigned when you're approved for your card.
