A vast network of roads and trade routes is a characteristic of Inca civilization that is most similar to a characteristic of the earlier Moche civilization.

The Inca civilization flourished in ancient Peru between c. 1400 and 1533 CE, and their empire stretched across western South America from Quito in the north to Santiago in the south, constituting the largest empire that ever existed in the Americas.

The Moche civilization flourished along the northern coast and valleys of ancient Peru, especially, in the Chicama and Trujillo Valleys, between 1 CE and 800 CE.

Why were people in the countries of Eastern Europe increasingly dissatisfiied with communism by the late 2003?
Alina [70]

Here ya go:

Following World War I, the victors created nearly a dozen new nations in Eastern Europe. These nations were supposed to become democracies, but they would need time to do this. In the 1930s, time ran out. Ethnic differences, political corruption, and finally the Great Depression undermined the infant democracies.

During World War II, Eastern Europe was caught between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. Several Eastern European countries--Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria--aligned themselves with the Nazis. Nazi troops overran most of the rest of Eastern Europe in the first years of the war. (Troops of Fascist Italy took over Albania.) Some Eastern Europeans joined resistance groups to fight the Nazis. The strongest forces emerged in Yugoslavia and Albania, led by communists. By the war's end in 1945, the Soviet Union's Red Army occupied all of Eastern Europe (except Yugoslavia and Albania).

Which advancement in science most contributed to the successful colonization of Africa by European powers in the late 19th centu
konstantin123 [22]

Answer: Steam power, which lead to steam powered ships helped European forces colonize Africa.

Explanation:

Steam Powered ships aren't the only thing though, and I think they're kinda tied in 1st place with guns for "Scientific advancement that most helped Europeans colonize Africa". I think-- I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure-- they had machine guns at that point. Let me just double check that so I don't mess you up.

Yup! They had the maxim machine gun which "allowed Europeans to wipe out Africans in battle after battle."

Jeez. That whole time period was so messed up

How does the government regulate natural monopolies?
aliya0001 [1]

The Government regulate natural monopolies by A.) ensuring and overseeing one supplier, because a natural monopoly occurs when in an industry the fixed costs are too higher, so is very difficult that more than one business start activities in that industry, for that reason only can exist one competitor or one supplier, as an example of that are the public utilities as water or electricity.

Moreover, due to in the natural monopolies don't exist competitors in the same industry, the suppliers in those monopolies could abuse of their advantage and their market position by establishing higher costs to customers, so with the purpose to prevent that possible unjust actions, the Government regulate the natural monopolies by ensuring and supervising constantly to the only supplier of an specific industry.
