Answer:

Manuel's grandmother is strong willed.

Explanation:

Claribel Alegria's "Granny and the Golden Bridge" tells the story of Manuel's grandmother who cooks food and sells it to the troops stationed near the Golden Bridge. She was brave and strong willed in her resolve to help the soldiers during the war.

The granny used to provide food for those soldiers stationed at the near and far side of the bridge. When the Golden bridge was to be blown away, she helped the guerrillas in their plan. later on, we hear from the narrator that she had started selling guns and ammunition to the guerrilla camps, that too by paddling on a small canoe. Such is the determination and hard working ethics of the grandmother. She is strong willed and is persistent in her work.

Answer:

Anomalies

Explanation:

The answer is anomalies because deformed is a very strong way of talking about his appearance, and is very rude. Elective and petrified don't make too much sense. Anomalies is a slight way of saying that he won't be normal, but it isn't too rude like deformed.
